Questions before a visit

Before you travel, four questions are enough to see whether the visit has a purpose. Who is showing you the property, and in what capacity? What surface is stated, and who measured it? Can the livret foncier be shown, or why does it not exist yet? Which notary would follow the deed, if there were a deed?

Write the answers in the words you were told. A spoken answer is not a document. “In progress”, “no problem” and “everything is in order” are checked later, on the title and with the notary.

This note is not the list of papers in a file. That list depends on the property, the commune and the day. It is put together with the notary, not from a template published here.
