Buying from France
Algerian nationality and a foreign nationality alone do not follow the same path.
Two situations are not the same. An Algerian, including a dual national, buys as an Algerian. A buyer who does not have Algerian nationality is generally asked for an authorisation from the wali. Decree no. 83-344 is the text usually cited for that authorisation. The text that applies, and the contents of the file, are confirmed with the notary and the wilaya.
The deed remains an Algerian notary’s deed. A person in Algeria can act with a power of attorney drawn up at an Algerian consulate. The purchase money is safer on a traceable path. This site states neither a time to expect nor fees to budget.
This page is not a consultation. It only stops the file from starting with the wrong question.
